The Freedom followed up with five runs in the third inning and added two more in the fourth to take a 10-0 lead.

Caleb Lopes finished 4-for-6 with a pair of runs scored, while Skyler Ewing was 3-for-5 with a homer and three RBI. The Freedom collected 22 hits and cruised behind the pitching of starter Jordan Kraus, who struck out 10 batters in eight innings of work.

Wobrock and Heck each had three hits for Florence, which won two of three games this weekend to take the series. Ricky Ramirez and Harrison White also both finished with three hits for the Freedom. Ramirez drove in two runs and scored twice, while White added two RBI.

On Saturday night, Southern Illinois posted a 12-9 win over the Freedom.
