Beechwood Marching Tigers invited to ’19 Memorial Day Parade in D.C.; fundraising starting with peaches

The Beechwood Marching Tigers have been invited to represent the Commonwealth of Kentucky in the 2019 National Memorial Day Parade in Washington, D.C.

The parade will be commemorating the 75th Anniversary of D-Day.

Over the next eight months, the Beechwood Band Boosters will be organizing a variety of fundraisers to help fund the trip and accomplish this goal…the first fundraiser is selling peaches.

The Beechwood/Peachwood Truck will be coming to Ft. Mitchell on Friday, August 3 (6-8 p.m.) and Saturday, August 4 (9-11 a.m.) at the Beechwood parking lot (54 Beechwood Road, Ft. Mitchell).

This is a preorder peach sale. To place an order, go online to the website.

Walk-up sales will be limited and on a first come first served basis.

The order cut-off date is Sunday, July 29 at 4 p.m.

Cost is $40 per half bushel (25lbs). Proceeds benefit the Band’s trip to Washington, D.C.

These quality peaches come from South Carolina — this sale is NOT affiliated with The Peach Truck.

The Beechwood Band Boosters is a non-profit IRC 501(c)(3) organization established to assist Beechwood’s Bands and directors with their programs and projects; to lend financial assistance to the bands for co-curricular and extracurricular activities and to promote a culture of excellence and exquisite musicianship.
