Learn how to manage diabetes at free class offered by Northern Kentucky Health Department June 26


Diabetes educators from the Northern Kentucky Health Department (NKY Health) will provide practical tips on how to better control diabetes at a free class on Tuesday, June 26.

The comprehensive education session, Healthy Living with Diabetes, will be from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Grant County Extension Office (105 Baton Rouge Rd, Williamstown). 

Registration is required, and participants are asked to bring a copy of their most recent A1C and blood pressure results.

Lunch and a diabetes toolkit will be provided.

Topics will include: what is diabetes, healthy eating, preventing complications and more.  In addition to presentations by NKY Health’s nurse/certified diabetes educator and dietitian/licensed diabetes educator, the Grant County Extension agent will provide a healthy cooking demonstration.
