Redwood School’s ‘Night at the Races’ fundraiser coming up on May 18 at Gardens of Park Hills


Redwood is placing all bets for a win at its upcoming “Night at the Races” fundraiser taking place Friday, May 18, from 6-10 p.m. at the Gardens of Park Hills. 

The $30 admission ($35 at the door) includes an action-packed night with armchair horse racing, raffles, split the pot, and banquet dinner with open bar. 

All proceeds benefit Redwood, a nonprofit organization providing educational, therapeutic, and vocational services to children and adults with disabilities.
 
 

The fundraiser coincides with Redwood’s 65th birthday, and event attendees with enjoy a bonus birthday celebration to add to the night’s excitement.
 
Corporations and individuals interested in sponsoring portions of the event or one of the 8 armchair horse races may contact Redwood for more details. Redwood is also accepting in-kind donations to be used in baskets tied to theme raffles.

Redwood guides children and adults with severe and multiple disabilities to achieve independence and reach their highest potential throughout their lives by providing enriching educational, therapeutic, and vocational services. 
 
Redwood is an accredited facility through CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) and through NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children).  Redwood serves over 800 clients each year through their 21 comprehensive programs ranging from educational, therapeutic, and vocational services.  Their state-of-the-art facility allows clients to learn, interact, and receive vocational training while building upon their social skills in order to achieve the quality of life they deserve.
