LiveWell NKY holding free Health Fair and Walk event in Florence to celebrate marked, safe walking routes


In support of LiveWell NKY’s mission to promote a culture of good health in Northern Kentucky, LiveWell Florence, the American Heart Association and the City of Florence have partnered to mark safe walking routes connecting neighborhoods to parks and businesses.

The newly marked routes will be launched at a free Health Fair and Walk event. The launch will be held Sunday, May 20 from 2- 4 p.m. at the Florence Government Center, 8100 Ewing Boulevard in Florence
 
This free family-friendly event includes:

* bike rodeo – City of Florence Police Department

* free bicycle helmets – BRIDGES NKY

* healthy snacks, Rethink your Drink-CoreLife Eatery

* blood pressure screenings – City of Florence Fire & EMS.

* Free Zumba class – RC Durr YMCA.
 
* Free giveaways as supplies last.

Raffle items are RC Durr free three-month membership, Bicycle, and Adam Duvall bobbleheads and a signed Adam Duvall Photograph.

And, guests can check out the Boone County Public Library Book Mobile.
