Dinsmore Homestead, a historic farm site in Burlington, is offering summer camps.

They are:

Young Rembrandts Art Camp

If your child likes art and enjoys being outside, this camp is the perfect fit! Art & nature together. The camp goes from June 18th to June 21st, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m
.

In the morning, campers will learn to draw according to the Young Rembrandts method. In the afternoon, they will step back in time to enjoy heritage art forms enjoyed by the Dinsmore family. The cost is a low $200.

Campers will bring their own lunch and snacks, Dinsmore will provide water.

For ages 6-13. If you have any questions please call Cathy Collopy at 859-586-6117 or email ccollopy@dinsmorefarm.org

Pioneer to the Past Daycamp

Step back in time to Boone County in the mid-nineteenth century. Experience what life was like for children then – the work they did, the fun they had, the special community events that brought people together, and the strength of families.

They will attend school, serve as jury for a trial, play in the creek, and have a good old-fashioned fun time all week long.

Camp runs from July 16th through July 20th, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The cost is $125.

This camp is suitable for children who have completed Kindergarten through 5th grade. Older, fun-loving children are welcome to act as counselors.

If you have any questions, please call Cathy Collopy at 859-586-6117 or email ccollopy@dinsmorefarm.org.
