The annual Farm Tour will be held on June 23. This self-guided tour of some of the finest working farms offers visitors a chance to learn about agriculture in Boone County. The tour will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., ending with a celebration at the Boone County Farmers Market from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. that will include food, music, and games for the family.

Agriculture is a vital part of Boone County and the tour offers a first-hand opportunity to learn about where food and fiber is produced while observing the workings on the farms and speaking with local farmers.

This year the tour will focus on the southern part of the County.

Participating farms and venues are available on the Farm Tour website and the Farm Tour Facebook page.

The tour will take place, rain or shine.
