Wild Wednesdays : Kenton County Parks and Rec summer programs return to Middleton-Mills Park

Discover the fascinating world of wildlife.

From May 16 to August 15, join Kenton County Parks & Recreation (KCP&R) for their 19th season of Wild Wednesdays. The free, thirteen programs begin at 10:00 a.m. and last about an hour. They are held, rain or shine, at Middleton-Mills Park in Shelterhouse 2.

All you need is a sense of wonder and KCP&R will take care of the rest. The programs are designed for everyone- don’t miss a single adventure. Learn simple definitions for big words such as biodiversity, endangered, conservation, preservation, adaptation, ecosystem, indigenous, extinction, specialization, and interdependence.

Arrive early for best seating. Be sure to check out the pre-program (9:30 a.m.) and post-programs (11 a.m.), as they vary. There will also be free raffles of terrific donated prizes.
