When asked about his score Adhikari said, “I was in shock and ecstatic because I had been working very hard to get this score. This was my third time taking it but the first time I did any preparation for the test.”

In addition to his passion and aptitude for academics, Adhikari is involved with a number of Latin School’s extracurricular offerings, including Debate Team, Junior Classical League, and National Honor Society. He is also plays on the Academic Team and Soccer Teams.

As Covington Latin School’s Headmaster Jason Huther put it, “Amit is a student of extreme focus and discipline. When he sets a goal, he does everything in his power to accomplish it.

“Further, it is most impressive to witness Amit’s high level of involvement and achievement in all kinds of activities. He’s a student council leader, an athlete, a scholar, and a well-rounded young man.  With the character Amit possesses, he has a bright future full of possibility.”
