Covington Police SWAT Team, CPD take down three suspects for weekend killing in Cincinnati

The Covington Police Department SWAT team, working with Cincinnati Police, arrested three people Wednesday, believed to be involved in a weekend shooting that resulted in a fatality.

A high-risk search warrant was served at 1817 Scott Street for the purpose of serving murder warrants on suspects believed to be inside.

Police arrested Billie Dotson, 21, Tamyla Nelms, 22 and Jajuan Keith, 23 at the Scott Street address. All have been charged with murder.

The victim, Antoine Higgins, 35, was shot and killed Saturday afternoon in Cincinnati

According to a report, Cincinnati Police officers responded to 3171 Ferncrest Court in Westwood at 3:20 p.m. for reports of a shooting victim.

First responders located Higgins, who had a bullet wound to the torso and despite lifesaving efforts, he died at the scene.

Initial reports indicated three men and a woman fled the scene with a baby, in a Silver Honda CRV with a broken passenger-side rear window.

No information has been released about the baby, or the possible fourth suspect.
