McDonald has poured in 1,431 points in three years and is currently 11th on NKU’s all-time scoring list. Paul Cluxton is No. 10 on the list with 1,495 career points.

In addition, McDonald has hauled in 762 career rebounds, which is fifth in Norse history. Todd Svoboda is fourth on the NKU all-time list with 770 career rebounds.

Horizon League Player of the Year Kendrick Nunn of Oakland was also selected to the Lou Henson All-America Team.

The Lou Henson National Player of the Year Award will be announced on April 2 in San Antonio, site of the men’s NCAA Final Four. The Lou Henson Award is presented annually to the nation’s top Division I mid-major player.

Lou Henson coached college basketball for 41 years. When he left the game in 2005, he was sixth all-time in career Division I wins with 779.

Henson is the all-time winningest coach at both Illinois and New Mexico State. He is also one of only 12 coaches in the history of the game to take two schools to the Final Four.
