Northern Kentucky Community Action Commission hosted the Mayors of Covington, Ludlow, Park Hills, and Ft. Wright as they went head-to-head in a winner-take-all chili cook-off to be named the Chili Champ of Northern Kentucky.
And the winner was — Covington Mayor Joe Meyer.
Mayor Ken Winn of Ludlow was back to defend the title he’s held for a year but he had to relinquish the crown.
Community members voted for their favorite chili (or Mayor!).
Donations were accepted for votes. All proceeds will benefit the Northern Kentucky Senior Center in Ludlow operated by Northern Kentucky Community Action Commission.
