Learn how to manage diabetes at free class offered by Northern Kentucky Health Department


Those wanting to learn how to better control their diabetes, can get practical tips at a free class on Saturday, March 10.

Diabetes educators from the Northern Kentucky Health Department are offering the comprehensive education from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Burlington Fire House located at 6050 Firehouse Drive, Burlington, KY.

Registration is required. Lunch and a diabetes toolkit will be provided.

Topics will include: What is diabetes, healthy eating, preventing complications and more. The class will be led by a Registered Nurse/Certified Diabetes Educator and a Registered Dietitian.

The Health Department’s diabetes program is accredited through the Kentucky Department for Public Health’s Healthy Living with Diabetes program.
