Boone County Republican Party provides opportunity to meet primary candidates at BCPL in Burlington

On Wednesday, March 28, the Boone County Republican Party will be hosting a “March Madness Meetup,” where all Boone County citizens will have the opportunity to talk with local elected officials and Republican primary candidates.

“This is going to be a great opportunity for voters to talk face-to-face with candidates and compare their responses,” said BCRP Chairman Josh Walton. “It will also be a great chance for elected officials and candidates to connect with the public.”

More than 30 candidates and elected officials are scheduled to attend the event, which will take place at the Main Branch of the Boone County Public Library in Burlington, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

“We’ve had an awesome response from candidates and elected officials,” Walton said. “This trade show format is really going to give voters unprecedented access to the people who represent them.”

The Boone County Public Library Main Branch is located at 1786 Burlington Pike in Burlington.
