Laughter Yoga is a mind-body exercise which counteracts the negative effects of stress and has a profound effect on health and wellbeing. In laughter yoga, jokes, comedy, or even a sense of humor are not needed to receive the benefits of genuine laughter. It is accomplished through laughter exercises, deep breathing, stretching, and playfulness. Please bring yoga or other type of mat as we will be on the floor. Please register.

Friends of Big Bone: Bison of Big Bone Lick

Join Paul Simpson, manager of the bison herd at Big Bone Lick State Historic Site, to understand the history and pre-history of why bison were attracted to the Big Bone Valley and how over time the bison adapted to the surroundings. Also, learn about the park’s current herd and how it is managed as Simpson takes the audience on a visual tour of the bison and describes current and future plans for the herd.
