Greater Cincinnati Foundation offering grants for two education projects, Summertime Kids, Learning Links

The Greater Cincinnati Foundation is now accepting applications for two programs designed to fund education projects for youth during the school year and summer months.

GCF’s Learning Links and Summertime Kids grants help educators and nonprofit organizations with limited project budgets provide creative learning experiences for kids. These grants have been made possible through the generous support of GCF’s donors.

Summertime Kids Grants

Summertime Kids grants provide support for programs that enrich or educate youth during the summer. Grants of up to $1,000 are available to nonprofits working with the young people of our community. For more than 25 years, these grants have added nearly $3 million of support in our region.

From last year: Kenton County Fiscal Court’s Every Other Thursday Science summer program.

Applicants must be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, school or church located in one of the eight counties GCF serves: Butler, Clermont, Hamilton and Warren in Ohio; Boone, Campbell and Kenton in Kentucky; and Dearborn County in Indiana.

Summertime Kids applications must be received by March 15, 2018, with grants to be awarded in May 2018. Starting this year, the grant process is now online. Find out how to apply at gcfdn.org/summertimekids.

Learning Links Education Grants

Since 1993, Learning Links has provided grants of up to $1,000 for creative programs or events in Greater Cincinnati classrooms.
