Village Players cancels auditions tonight; reset tomorrow night for ‘Bingo, the Winning Musical’


The Village Players of Fort Thomas has rescheduled auditions for ‘Bingo, The Winning Musical’ to Tuesday, January 16 from 7-9 p.m.

There will be no auditions tonight.

The play is about a group of die-hard bingo players who stop at nothing to miss their weekly game. In between the number calling, strange rituals and fierce competitions, love blossoms and long-lost friends reunite.

Production dates are April 20-22, 26-28.

Cast size (minimum of 7) is 4 Women (stage age 40+), 1 Woman (stage age 60’s), 
1 Man (stage age 40+), 1 Woman (stage age 20’s) 
some extras are also needed.   Each individual cast member has a least one solo and there are many ensemble numbers.

Bring music to sing one song displaying your vocal range.  An accompanist will be provided.

BINGO, The Winning Musical is adapted from a book by Michael Heitzman & Ilene Reid. Music and lyrics are by by Michael Heitzman, Ilene Reid, and David Holcenberg.
 
It is directed by Peggy Kenney; musical direction by Allan Lindsey.
