This year’s YP sponsors: Samuel Adams, Nehemiah Manufacturing, Schneller Plumbing, Heating and Air and Deron Schell of Huff Realty.

“Life Learning Center’s Annual St. Patrick’s Gala is a major community awareness event to keep our donors, partners and volunteers connected and growing. This year we’ve added an event dedicated to our future community leaders of young professionals as well,” said Alecia Webb-Edgington, President of Life Learning Center.

“The Board and staff have worked diligently this last year to increase enrollment and remove respective barriers for Candidates to achieve transformational change. Because the Center does not take any federal or state dollars, it is crucial to raise funding in order to support individuals desiring a second chance. Our heartfelt thanks and gratitude for all of our donors stepping up and allowing LLC to be a lighthouse for those who are lost in the storms of life.”

William P. Butler, Chairman/CEO of Corporex, founded the Center in 2006 and has already seen a dramatic improvement in the quality of graduates now employed.

“We’re proud of the accomplishments we made in 2017 under Alecia Webb-Edgington, former Senior Policy Advisor for the U.S. State Department of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement, who joined our team as President a year ago. Alecia has brought energy, passion and determination to our organization and has been actively involved in expanding awareness and establishing the Center as a key element of the Community and building base support.

Honoree Chuck Scheper
