Grammy-nominated Raging Fyah at Covington’s Madison Theater for Rebelution Winter Greens Tour


Grammy-nominated reggae/alternative band, Raging Fyah, will perform as the special guest act for the California reggae band, Rebelution, at the Rebelution 2018 Winter Greens tour, which makes its stop in Kentucky at The Madison Theater at 730 Madison Avenue in Covington, on Wednesday at 7 p.m.

The Rebelution 2018 Winter Greens tour runs through February and includes stops in more than 20 cities which include Pittsburg, Nashville, Detroit, Chicago, New Orleans, and Dallas.

Raging Fyah, one of Jamaica’s most promising young acts, has become a trailblazer in the reggae industry with a 2016 Best Reggae Album Grammy nomination for their album “Everlasting,” has made significant impact upon America’s vast reggae landscape. The band is also known for launching its own unique strain of Cannabis titled Everlasting Cush, which officially made them the first band out of Jamaica to become ganjapreneurs, or businesspersons in the marijuana industry.

Raging Fyah has widened its fanbase by teaming up with Polish reggae sensation Bednarek on a remix to their song, “Get Up,” and have toured major festivals throughout the US and Europe in 2017. The band has garnered the attention of the top music blog, Consequence of Sound, which named them top two performance at this past October’s Austin City Limits. They are currently working on new music. Band members include, Kumar Bent, Delroy Hamilton, Anthony Watson, Courtland White, and Demar Gayle.

“We are very excited about this tour as Rebelution is a band that we have a lot of respect for,” says Bent. “To share a stage with them night after night is an honor. This will be one to remember for sure.”
