For the 30th year, Mental Health America of Northern Kentucky and Southwest Ohio will once again host its annual Christmas dinner at the Northern Kentucky Convention Center on Monday from 7:30 a.m. until 2 p.m.
More than 400 volunteers will serve a holiday dinner to more than 2,000 needy families and individuals in the community.
Children will visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus and receive toys, while children and adults will receive coats, blankets, scarves, groceries, personal care items, vegetables, and more.

The schedule:
• 7:30 a.m. Event organizers begin preparing for the dinner; members of Greater Cincinnati’s Jewish community assist in wrapping toys and presents for the children.
• 10 a.m. Doors open to the public.
• 11 a.m. Volunteers begin serving meals; children visit Santa to sit on his lap and receive a toy.
• Remainder of day. Families and individuals eat dinner, meet Santa and receive toys and personal care items including blankets.
