Boone County Republican Women’s Club elects Tami Wilson president; new officers’s terms begin Jan. 1

The Boone County Republican Women’s Club has installed new officers.

The newly elected officers are Tami Wilson, President; Olivia Amlung, 1st Vice President; Melissa Shnider, 2nd Vice President; Marian Dunkerley, Secretary; Rennae Hageman, Treasurer.

Officers will begin their terms January 1.

“I’m excited to be chosen by our club to be the president,” stated Wilson. “I want to thank past president, Marian Dunkerley and all past officers for laying a firm foundation so our club can continue growing. We would like to invite all our Republican women in Boone County to come join the party as we prepare for the 2018 election cycle.”

The club hosts a variety of programs throughout the year featuring legislative updates from local Republican law makers, community awareness issues, and a scholarship program for a young woman graduating from a Boone County school.

Boone County Republican Women’s Club is affiliated with the Kentucky Federation of Republican Women and the National Federation of Republican Women; empowering and educating women from all backgrounds about the political process and providing a forum for women to serve as leaders in the political, government, and civic arenas.
