Behringer-Crawford Museum presents “Choo Choo, Chocolate & Cheer,” sponsored by ALIVE! on Dec. 8

Children and the special adults in their lives are invited to experience the holidays in magical motion at an exclusive event at Behringer-Crawford Museum, complete with vintage trains, ice-skating canines, an interactive art experience and a gourmet hot chocolate bar.

“Choo Choo, Chocolate & Cheer” is sponsored by ALIVE!, BCM’s young professionals group. Guests will watch the museum’s beloved Holiday Toy Trains chugging through miniature cities and snowy landscapes, and press the big red buttons to activate more than 30 intricate displays. They can visit “Wahoo’s Winter Wonderland” with its animated displays and hand-made local scenery based on the children’s book by Kenton Hills author Diana Grady.

Families can create holiday decorations and help award-winning artist Cedric Michael Cox paint a mural that will later be exhibited in the museum. After visiting with Santa, they can drop their wish lists into the North Pole mailbox and top off the evening with hot chocolate with all the trimmings.

“Choo Choo, Chocolate & Cheer” takes place from 5:30-8:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 8. Tickets are $9 for adults, $5 for children aged 3-17 and free for age two and under. For reservations, go to https://www.eventbrite.com/e/choo-choo-chocolate-cheer-tickets-40105353191.
