“Save lives,” said Dan Cole, assistant vice president of medical specialties at St. Elizabeth Physicians. “We want our work to reflect a continued sense of hope for our community and patients who have been affected by addiction.”

Dr. Teresa Koeller will serve as medical director and will oversee an initial staff of 12, including nurse practitioners, therapists and case managers. Within a six to 12-month period, the facility will increase its workforce to approximately 32 employees.

The facility will work closely with the Kentucky Department of Drug Control Policy, Kentucky Medicaid, Brighton Center, Transitions, Inc. and other community and state partners working to combat addiction.

An official ribbon cutting today at 1 p.m. will introduce the new facility to the community. Participants include Cole and Koeller and:

• Garren Colvin, president and CEO, St. Elizabeth Healthcare
• Rep. Kim Moser, director of the NKY Office of Drug Control Policy.
