Household Hazardous Waste Collection
Saturday, November 4th 9 a.m.-2 p.m.

The NKY Solid Waste Management Area and the NKY Household Hazardous Waste Action Coalition are joining forces to help properly dispose of unwanted items. Residents of Boone, Campbell and Kenton counties can drop off select items on Saturday, November 4 at UC Health Stadium, “Home of the Florence Freedom,” in Florence. Only certain items will be collected and some restrictions apply. All residents who plan to drop off items MUST visit www.nkyhhw.org to print and complete a registration form prior to attending the event.

Perk Up The Park
Saturday, November 11th 9 a.m.-noon

The Little People’s Playground on Howell Street in Peaselburg has been selected for the 2017 Perk Up the Park site! KCB is partnering with the City of Covington’s Parks & Recreation Department to make some big changes to this little park.

The City will use this event to get feedback from the neighborhood on how the park should be renovated. KCB will also be adding a few fun features to spruce it up!

A registration page coming soon.
