VonLehman dispatches 130 professionals on ‘Make a Difference Day’ to help six nonprofit organizations

Nearly 130 VonLehman professionals supported six nonprofit organizations with both manual and intellectual labor on their “Make A Difference Day.’

The nonprofits include FreeStore FoodBank, AJ Jolly Park, Ronald McDonald House, Gleaners Food Bank, Diocesan Catholic Children’s Home, and Redwood.

This is VL’s second annual VL Cares Make a Difference Day, which is a company-wide community service day.

“Corporate citizenship and philanthropy are core values at VonLehman. All of us were out there ‘Making a Difference’ in our communities, says Brian Malthouse, President of VonLehman.  “Our firm has programs all year whereby we contribute to dozens of organizations, but VL Cares Make a Difference Day is our celebration of all that makes our communities great.”

Between the three VonLehman offices in Kentucky, Ohio, and Indiana, VL Cares Make a Difference Day served six nonprofit agencies directly.

VonLehman contributes over a thousand hours in employee manpower each year on Make a Difference Day, volunteering at various nonprofit organizations throughout the region.

The volunteers completed a variety of projects at each location, from preparing meals, to a lake bank clean up, to a tea party complete with top hats and tiaras for little ones.
