Kentucky’s annual Pro Day will take place in a new venue this season.

The annual event, which gives NBA scouts a sneak peak of the men’s basketball team, is set for Oct. 8 at Rupp Arena. The event will be 7-9 p.m. and will be televised on the SEC Network, with Sean Farnham and Seth Greenberg proving the commentary. The previous Pro Day events were held at the Joe Craft Center.

All 30 NBA teams are expected to take part on the event that showcases the Kentucky roster ahead of the upcoming season. The players will go through a combine-style practice session, which will feature agility drills, shooting drills and a 3-on-3 and 5-on-5 scrimmage.

The event serves as a prelude to Big Blue Madness, which will be Oct. 13 at Rupp Arena.

The Wildcats went 32-6 last season and lost to North Carolina in the Elite Eight. Kentucky replaces a bulk of its scoring and defensive production from last season and welcome seven newcomers to the roster. Returning are Wenyen Gabriel, Sacha-Killeya Jones, Tai Wynyard and Hamidou Diallo.

Cats ranked: The Wildcats are ranked No. 5 in the Blue Ribbon Basketball Yearbook and No. 6 by Athlon Sports going into the preseason.

In addition Blue Ribbon ranked Florida No. 8, followed by Alabama at No. 24. Opponents Kansas (fourth), Louisville (sixth), West Virginia (No. 9), UCLA (22nd) and Virginia Tech (25th) are also ranked in the poll.
