Center for Great Neighborhoods to honor local leaders at Annual Celebration November 8


The Center for Great Neighborhoods will honor local community and business leaders during the organization’s Annual Celebration on November 8.

The free event will include a look back at The Center’s accomplishments in 2017, as well as the recognition of community and business leaders for their commitment and dedication to Covington.

Nominations are now being accepted for the following awards to be presented at the event:

Heart of the Community Award

Presented annually by The Center to recognize Covington resident volunteers who have made significant contributions to their neighborhood or school.

Key to the Future Award

Presented annually by The Center for Great Neighborhoods to recognize Covington youth who are outstanding leaders and devoted to our community.

Additionally, The Center will select winners for the following awards, also presented that evening:

Great Neighbor Award

Recognized for their dedication to The Center and the people of Covington, an organization will receive the Great Neighbor Award.

Covington Great Business Award

Recognized for their support to The Center and the economic health of Covington, local businesses will receive the Covington Great Business Award.

Nominations are due Saturday, September 30.
