Two NKyians among those appointed to state boards and commissions by Gov. Matt Bevin


Gov. Matt Bevin today made the following appointments to Kentucky Boards and Commissions:

Michelle Diane Penque has been appointed to the Kentucky Board of Home Inspectors.

• Michelle Diane Penque, of Cold Spring, is senior business project analyst at Greater American Insurance Company. She will represent the public at-large and serve for the remainder of an unexpired term ending June 21, 2020.

The Kentucky Board of Home Inspectors is made up of five gubernatorial appointees. The Board was established to administer and regulate the licensing and conduct of home inspectors within the Commonwealth.

Brian Christopher Dunham, Rick Yates and Joshua Carson have been appointed to the Charitable Gaming Advisory Commission.

• Brian Christopher Dunham, of Edgewood, is an attorney. He will represent Catholic organizations and serve for a term expiring July 10, 2020.

• Rick Yates, of Frankfort, is a certified public accountant. He will represent CPAs and serve for a term expiring July 10, 2021.

• Joshua Carson, of Cynthiana, is a firefighter. He will represent Kentucky volunteer firefighters and serve for a term expiring July 10, 2019.
The Charitable Gaming Advisory Commission provides ongoing input and advice to the Office of Charitable Gaming and the Kentucky Legislature. As directed by statute, the Commission meets quarterly to review matters affecting charitable gaming in the Commonwealth.
