Sullivan University Center for Learning-NKY hosts information session on household budgeting


The Sullivan University Center for Learning-Northern Kentucky is hosting an informative session on household budgeting that will be presented by Doug Mercer of BB&T Bank.

The session is scheduled Sept. 21 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Sullivan University Center for Learning-Northern Kentucky, 207 Grandview Drive in Fort Mitchell.

“Less than one-third of all Americans has a monthly budget, and most people who do rarely stick to their budgets,” said Dr. Vicki Berling, executive director of the Sullivan University Center for Learning-Northern Kentucky. “Learn more about how you can stop living month-to-month as Doug Mercer shares tips on developing a budget that enhances rather than controls your lifestyle.”

Doug Mercer of BB&T Bank will speak about a complete financial wellness program that is designed to help individuals become better equipped and educated on various financial topics, with the goal of helping them achieve financial strength and success.

Doug has held various roles in the financial industry for over 15 years. He is committed to helping individuals achieve their financial goals by providing sound advice and recommendations. He currently serves as a Financial Wellness Coordinator for BB&T.
