Northern Kentucky Chamber to hold annual meeting Sept. 28, announces this year’s award winners

The Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce invites the Northern Kentucky business community to its Annual Dinner, Presented by Fifth Third Bank on Thursday, September 28.

The largest networking event of the year will recognize community and business leaders who are making a lasting impact on our region. The event will highlight the strides the NKY Chamber has made in the last year, and will look forward to plans for the year ahead.

“When you consider this is Tri-Ed’s 30th anniversary, the first year of the Bill Robinson award, as well as the impressive list of award recipients, this year’s Annual Dinner is shaping up to be the biggest Annual Dinner in Northern Kentucky Chamber History,” said Brent Cooper, Interim President of the Northern Kentucky Chamber.

The evening marks a transition in leadership for the Northern Kentucky Chamber Board of Directors. Rhonda Whitaker from Duke Energy will begin her one-year tenure as Board Chair while Bob Heil of KLH Engineers PSC will step down into the Immediate Past Chair position.

“As the incoming Chair of the NKY Chamber Board, I’m excited about this year’s annual dinner theme – ‘It’s Time.’ It perfectly captures the excitement regarding not only what’s happened, but also what’s about to happen in the Northern Kentucky region,” said Rhonda Whitaker from Duke Energy.  “Expansions of businesses in our NKY region and announcements of new developments remind us all of why a strong chamber is so critical for the continued economic vitality of our community.  Both small and large businesses depend on the chamber to lead, connect and advocate.”
