Fort Thomas Independent Schools has selected Kathy Donelan to serve as interim assistant principal of Highlands Middle School (HMS), where she has been a teacher since July 2006.
Before joining the faculty at HMS, Donelan was a mathematics teacher at St. Mary School for five years.

Donelan earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Middle Grades Education and is currently working on earning her Rank I in Instructional Leadership from Northern Kentucky University.
Superintendent Karen Cheser stated, “Kathy Donelan comes highly recommended for the interim assistant principal position at Highlands Middle School. We are confident Kathy can help the school continue its momentum and success especially at a time of new state accountability and new standards.”

Union names Everman administrative assistant
Union has named Christy Everman as an Administrative Assistant.

Everman has worked for the city since August of 2016, and has been named to the permanent staff after serving as an administrative assistant in a temporary capacity.
Everman will handle the day-to-day administrative duties for the city staff, with a special emphasis on accounting, finance and budgeting.
Everman brings experience to the position, with prior employment at Boone Kenton Lumber and Building Supply, where she was the assistant office manager for eleven years. She is also an independent businesswoman, with the Thirty-One Gifts company, where she has risen to the rank of Executive Director and received four promotions in ten years to rank among the top 1% of consultants nationwide.
Everman received a Bachelor’s of Science in psychology from Northern Kentucky University.
Everman, and her husband Jeff, reside in Independence with their three children.

Sen. Schickel presents Green with resolution on 65th anniversary
Bob and Julie Green celebrated 65 years of marriage on Saturday, August 5 with a Mass at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Burlington and a reception with children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren and friends at Boone Woods Park.
Senator John Schickel presented them with a Senate Resolution on behalf of the Commonwealth of Kentucky congratulating them on their long and happy marriage.
Union names Wahoff City Clerk
The City of Union has named Donna Wahoff as the City Clerk.
Wahoff succeeds Interim City Clerk/Treasurer Melissa Hinkle, who has been promoted to a new position.

Wahoff will serve the city in a variety of capacities, including record keeping, scheduling, and other projects as assigned.
Wahoff brings extensive experience to the position. She was the Executive Assistant to the Provost for Union Institute & University in Cincinnati, where she performed a variety of administrative functions related to the Provost’s office. She retired from
the University of Cincinnati, where she worked most recently in the Office of General Counsel. While at UC, Wahoff also held administrative positions in the Office of the Senior VP for Planning, Finance and Community; the Office of the VP of Finance and as the administrative coordinator for enrollment management.
Wahoff received an Associate of Applied Business from the University of Cincinnati Raymond Walters College, where she was awarded outstanding student honors.
Wahoff, and her husband Rick, reside in Burlington.
