Hindu Temple of Greater Cincinnati will offer free ‘Taste of India’ Festival Sept. 9th


The Hindu Temple of Greater Cincinnati will hold its “Taste of India” Festival on Sept 9th.

It is held at the temple campus at 720 Barg Salt Run Road, Cincinnati in Union Township, Clermont County.

The festival hours are from 12 noon to 8 p.m.

It features authentic Indian cuisine, clothing, jewelry as well as pony rides and carnival games. There are several booths for public services including a free health checkup booth.

The festival features a dance competition called “Naach-Sitare” or dancing stars. It has over 40 performances and is considered the premier dance competition of Indian dances in the tri-state region.

There are free tours of the temple. The admission is free and as is managed parking.
