Chamber Spotlight: Citi holds Global Community Day — as volunteers worked around the community

Each year, tens of thousands of Citi volunteers, their friends and families join together for Global Community Day – an opportunity to use their time, skills and expertise to make a difference in their cities.

Thousands of volunteers worked alongside community partners at service projects in 487 cities across 93 countries in the days leading up to and including Global Community Day.

July 10 is Citi’s Global Community day in Northern Kentucky, and the NKY Chamber made special note of this extraordinary service project with a Spotlight video.

The annual activities focus on a range of local needs – from urban revitalization to environmental conservation to literacy and education. Global Community Day is one of the many ways Citi shows its commitment to the communities where we have a presence year round.

Millions of service hours have been donated since the inception of Global Community Day in 2006.
