Boone County Public Library July calendar of events for adults includes concerts in the park, much more


The Boone County Public Library offers events at its branches and throughout the county during the month of July. Some events are one time only while others are recurring throughout the month. A list of scheduled events for adults is included here. A separate list of events for teens and children will be published separately.

In the Loop

Do you have photos and documents that are sitting around? Bring them to the library where a trained volunteer or staff member will digitize them so they are preserved for future generations. Once items are scanned they can be saved to your flash drive, a CD or sent to an email. Registration is required. You will be contacted with a 30 minute time slot after registering.

In honor of Kentucky’s 225th Anniversary of statehood, Karl and Peggy Lietzenmayer will perform a musical tribute to Stephen Foster on the circa 1867 Square Steinway Grand Piano under the Main Library’s dome. The Lietzenmayers donated the piano to the library in 2016. Co-sponsored by the Boone County Historical Society. (A short business meeting precedes the program.)
