Idea Festival-Northern Kentucky to present ‘The Writerpreneur’ on May 11, by Innovation Network

Great ideas can come from anywhere.

On the evening of May 11, they’ll specifically be coming from Innovation Alley at Idea Festival – Northern Kentucky, hosted by the Kentucky Innovation Network at Northern Kentucky.

Featured keynote speakers include Richard Hunt, publisher with more than 30 years of experience and founder of Roebling Point Books & Coffee, and Jack Heffron, award-winning columnist for Cincinnati magazine and author of The Writer’s Idea Book. Five breakout sessions across regional, fiction, memoire, poetry, and travel/diversity writing will follow, with opportunities for attendees to mingle and network.

“We have a local network that is teeming with creativity and connectivity,” says Casey Barach, director of the Kentucky Innovation Network’s Northern Kentucky Office. “We are beyond excited to host local ‘writerpreneurs’ in our space in Innovation Alley for a night of discussion, debate and discovery.”

The workshop is one of the many IdeaFestival events held throughout Kentucky in the first half of 2017 that lead up to the four-day festival in September.

Founded in 2000, IdeaFestival brings together visionaries and innovators in Louisville across business, technology, design, science, philosophy, and education disciplines.

Idea Festival – Northern Kentucky will take place from 4-8 p.m. on May 11 at the NKY Innovation Network Office, Innovation Alley. Attendance is free, but registration is required on Eventbrite. The U.S. Bank Foundation is presenting sponsors, and Renaissance Covington, and Roebling Point Books & Coffee are partners for the event.
