DHL continues to seek qualified workers for several positions, shifts, job fair Saturday at CVG

DHL Express, the world’s leading international express services provider, continues to seek qualified workers to accommodate its latest expansion at CVG.

The company has announced it will hold another hiring fair at the CVG Centre to fill 900 new positions as the company completes the latest $108 million expansion of its Americas Hub at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky Airport.

Interested candidates who could not attend previous job fairs are invited to this event. Those hired should be ready to begin work no later than May 1.

The fair is Saturday, April 22 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the CVG Centre, 77 Comair Blvd. in Erlanger.

The new jobs at the DHL hub, an equal mix of full- and part-time positions, offer health benefits and tuition reimbursement, as well as allow for flexible work schedules.

The positions to be filled include the new daytime shift as well as the existing evening shifts. DHL will be filling both exempt and non-exempt positions, including some supervisory positions.

Job applicants should bring two forms of government-issued ID and be able to successfully pass a background check and a pre-employment drug test.

Candidates can get a head-start by completing an on-line application. An in-person interview at the job fair will still be needed.

The projected growth in e-commerce and international shipments is expected to increase the hub’s workforce to more than 3,300 from the current 2,400 employees.

Over the past seven years DHL has invested more than $281 in the expansion of its Americas hub at DHL.
This latest $108 million expansion features a new north ramp that’s built on 45 acres of land and provides parking space for 16 additional planes, bringing the hub’s total capacity to 65 planes.
