Skidaddles childcare in Florence holding open house to celebrate expansion; planning franchises

The Florence Skidaddles drop-in childcare has added 1,000 square feet of space, a 37% expansion, to accommodate growing demand.

The expansion will be celebrated at a free open house for families and for companies seeking flexible childcare options for their employees. It will be held Saturday, March 25 from 3-6 p.m.

Those who attend can win free registration and various specials for Skidaddles’ programs such as summer camp discounts.

Guests will see innovative activity areas, all updated rooms, the new classroom for two-year olds, and a STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) area for older children. The renovation and room additions increase the capacity for more staff and children. At 5:30 Cool Critters Outreach will be there for hands-on encounters with live animals.

“We have seen a huge response for our unique flexible care concept,” says Founder Tiffany Sams. “Whether there’s a need for a few hours while a parent shops, an evening for a couple’s date night or regular hours to accommodate a work schedule, Skidaddles is able to offer instant space for the children without calling ahead. It’s an opportunity for kids to learn and have fun at the same time.”

Skidaddles has a second location in Mason, Ohio, with an open house from 1-4 p.m. on March 25. The success of both facilities has poised Skidaddles for an aggressive franchise plan as families express a greater need for flexible, drop-in childcare for their changing lifestyles.

Reservations are not required for the March 25 open house. The Northern Kentucky Skidaddles is located at 8660 Bankers Street, Florence. For more information phone (859) 647-7529 or visit www.skidaddles.com
