Thomas More women host Eureka in NCAA Division III Tournament Championship opener Friday


The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) has announced the games times for the first and second round games of the Division III Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championship being played Friday and Saturday (March 3-4, 2017) at Marietta College and Thomas More College.

In the women’s championship, No. 15-ranked Hope College and the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater will play at 5 p.m., in the first game on Friday and No. 2-ranked Thomas More plays Eureka College at 7 p.m. at the Connor Convocation Center in Crestview Hills, Kentucky.

The two winners from Friday will play at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday for the right to advance to the Sectional semifinals.

Ticket prices will be $7 for adults and $4 for senior citizens and students, while children ages two and under are free. Tickets will be available at the door and the doors will open on Friday at 4 p.m. and on Saturday at 5 p.m.

In the men’s championship, No. 23-ranked Guilford College and Thomas More will play at 5 p.m. in the first game on Friday and No. 7-ranked Marietta will play Calvin College at 8 p.m. inside the Ban Johnson Arena in Marietta, Ohio.

The two winners from Friday will play at 7 p.m. on Saturday for the right to advance to Sectional round of the tournament.

Ticket prices will be $10 for adults and $5 for senior citizens and students and the arena will be cleared after each game. Tickets will be available at the door for Thomas More fans and the doors will open on Friday at 3:30 p.m.
