Miniature horses, treats greeting passengers at CVG to make Valentine’s day special

Love is in the air this Valentine’s Day at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG), and it comes in the form of miniature therapy horses and Valentine’s treats.

To bring smiles to passengers’ faces and calm nerves during their travel experience, CVG in partnership with Seven Oaks Farm is bringing miniature-therapy horses to the airport. They will be there from 2:30-4 p.m. on Tuesday.

The program officially launched last May and the horses will visit the main terminal again to greet passengers, this time to provide free hugs for Valentine’s Day.

As part of CVG’s mission to make travel through the airport an unforgettably positive experience, the program is ongoing in which the horses visit the airport twice a month. Future dates and times will be shared.

CVG will also be sharing Valentine’s treats with passengers during this time.

Seven Oaks Farm Miniature Therapy Horses is a nonprofit corporation whose mission is to “provide mobile therapeutic services to children and adults through equine assisted activities leading to positive mental, emotional and physical benefits.”
