Brighton Center has three locations for Volunteer Income Tax to help qualified people with their taxes

Brighton Center now has three VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) tax preparation sites open for the 2017 Tax Season.

The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program offers free tax help to people who generally make $64,000 or less, persons with disabilities and the elderly who need assistance in preparing their own tax returns. IRS-certified volunteers provide free basic income tax return preparation with electronic filing to qualified individuals.

Brighton Center is one of several organizations in The Regional EITC Collaborative led by United Way of Greater Cincinnati. The coalition is made up of business, nonprofit and government partners with one purpose — to help eligible wage earners in Southwestern Ohio, Northern Kentucky, and Southeastern Indiana receive quality tax preparation and wealth-building opportunities to strengthen their own financial stability. Regional partners in delivering free tax preparation include VITA, AARP, Benefit Bank and United Way.
