St. Elizabeth Healthcare says ‘take steps toward healthier heart’ with “Time for your Heart’ sessions


Take steps toward a healthier heart in 2017
 
The St. Elizabeth Heart & Vascular Institute is offering a comprehensive eight-week program to help you identify your risk of heart disease and other illnesses, and learn how you can make meaningful changes to help you live better and live longer. Take Time for Your Heart is open to anyone in the community starting Jan. 18, 2017.

Each class is packed with valuable tips from clinical experts, including a registered nurse, pharmacist, dietitian and exercise physiologist. Before the eight-week program begins and again after the last class, you’ll receive a cardiac age health risk assessment, which calculates your cardiac age based on your personal health factors, to help you track your progress. Plus, you’ll get your own copy of the book, “Mayo Clinic Healthy Heart for Life!
