KentuckyRxCard provides HIPAA compliant prescription discount coupon — it’s free, online

Representatives of the KentuckyRxCard spoke at the Supporting Latino Families Northern Kentucky meeting Thursday at the Center for Great Neighborhoods.

The presentation provided information concerning HIPAA compliancy and the importance of protecting Personal Health Information.

The KentuckyRxCard provides a HIPAA compliant prescription discount coupon that allows anyone access to discounted prescription medications without having to provide any personal information. Additionally, the card is printed in Bi-Lingual form.

In attendance were representatives from city, social, health, and charity organizations who wanted to learn more about this program.

The KentuckyRxCard is partnered with the Kentucky League of Cities and currently has saved residents over $69 million dollars off the cost of their prescription medications.

The card is available throughout Northern Kentucky at city halls, schools, health departments and now at the Center for Great Neighborhoods located at 321 W. MLK Blvd, in Covington.

Kentucky residents can print a free card, search drug pricing, and locate participating pharmacies at www.kentuckyrxcard.com or download the free APP to your mobile phone.
