Covington Catholic High School is offering two multi-week after-school STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) camps for 6th-8th grade boys and girls during January – March.
The camps are based on Project Lead the Way’s Gateway curriculum, designed to expose middle school students to STEM-related fields with a primary focus on engineering. The spring sessions feature two separate Gateway curriculum tracks: 1) STEM Robotics; and 2) STEM 3-D Modeling & Design.
CovCath Technology Instructor Craig Cleveland and St. Pius X Math Instructor Jeff Slater will teach the classes.
Each camp meets on six dates:
STEM ROBOTICS: Jan. 23-24, Jan. 30-31, Feb. 6-7.
STEM 3-D MODELING & DESIGN: Feb. 13-14, Feb. 27-28, March 6-7.
Tuition for each camp is $149, with a discount if registering for both camps and/or multiple students from the same family.
