Need a Christmas sweater (ugly or otherwise) for a holiday get-together?

Master Provisions is the place to shop.

“Throughout the year, Master Provisions retrieves holiday items from the thousands of pounds of clothing donated to us,” said Roger Babik, the organization’s President.

“Then, each December, we host a Christmas Sweater Sale. Shoppers have fun and proceeds help us provide food, clothing and orphan care to people in need.”

The event began four years ago as Christmas sweater parties gained in popularity and as workplaces sponsored days for their employees to wear holiday attire. Each year, the event has grown with the help of Master Provisions’ volunteers.

Minimum donations for the sweaters range from $5 to $15. For more information about the sale and the work of Master Provisions, visit their website www.masterprovisions.org.
