“The property will craft a sensory experience for its guests that succinctly blends the cultures of Cincinnati’s true downtown city atmosphere, with the more laid back, traditional feel, projected from the Kentucky side of the river,” said Amber Badgett, director of sales. “The goal will be to immerse guests into a vibrant, energized space that still projects the feel of traditional Kentucky.”

The key design elements will focus on Cincinnatians’ urban dwelling, baseball loving, metropolitan lifestyle — and, meld that into the bourbon doting, horse crazed, warm hospitality of Kentuckians.

Guests will find themselves engulfed in a space reflecting the sultry greys of aged bourbon barrels combined with colors of deep warm chestnut, dashed in vibrant blues. Properly uniting tradition with a dose of energy. Exposed ceilings with floating wooden clouds will replicate the feel of baseball bats. Beamed rays of lights will project modern separations of space, while strapped leather seating will cement the total feel and philosophy of the space.

“The Aloft will open in early December and will be a great addition to the Newport Skyline,” said Jack Moreland, president of Southbank. “It will compliment Newport on the Levee by providing visitors with very classy accommodations, quick access to event venues on both the north and south side of the river and most importantly it will create a hub of activity for businesses around the levee and beyond.”

Great story and thrilled about Aloft, but the word editions in the last paragraph should be additions.
