Tenth annual Taste of the Levee in Newport Saturday includes entertainment, all food samplings $3 or less


The 10th Annual Taste of the Levee sponsored by Cincinnati Bell takes place on Saturday, Sept. 24, from 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

taaste-of-the-levee Taste of the Levee invites visitors to indulge in some of the most popular food options from a variety of Levee eateries, including: Axis Alley, BRIO Tuscan Grille, Brother’s Bar & Grill, Dewey’s Pizza, Dick’s Last Resort, GameWorks, Greek Burrito, Mitchell’s Fish Market, Redondo Taqueria, and Tom + Chee.

Each food sampling is $3 or less.

 “It’s a great experience for the whole family,” said Peggy Cook, Marketing & Event Coordinator. “While browsing through the food booths, festival-goers may vote for their favorite dish. We will also have live music and street performers providing entertainment between bites.”

 Entrance to Taste is free and this year’s sponsor, Cincinnati Bell is the provider of free Wi-Fi to the entire center at Newport on the Levee. This feature allows guest to always have access to hassle free Wi-Fi while visiting the Levee.

“The Newport on the Levee leadership immediately grasped the benefits of providing a premium Wi-Fi experience that benefits residents and visitors alike,” said Rob Scott with Cincinnati Bell.It’s our goal to provide internet access to the masses and bridge the digital divide. We look forward to future expansion throughout The City of Newport and beyond.” 

Entertainment includes the Fixx Band from11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and Model Behavior from 3 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
