Rover.com, which bills itself as a “one-stop shop for loving and trustworthy dog sitters near you,” recently released its Most Popular Dog Names of 2015.

“Some dog names are timeless – Fido, Rover, Sparky – while others rise and fall with the trends,” the website said. “Each year, we witness a new crop of dog names that reflects the changing world around us. Rover.com dug into its data from hundreds of thousands of beloved dogs nationwide to find out which names lead the pack.” Here’s what they found:

Top Male Dog Names

1. Max
2. Charlie
3. Buddy
4. Cooper
5. Jack
6. Rocky
7. Toby
8. Duke
9. Bear
10. Tucker

Top Female Dog Names

1. Bella
2. Lucy
3. Daisy
4. Molly
5. Lola
6. Sadie
7. Maggie
8. Sophie
9. Chloe
10. Bailey

Rover.com also found that, with dog owners increasingly calling themselves “pet parents,” it’s no surprise they are naming their pets like their children. In 2015, 49 percent of pet parents gave their dogs human names. That’s compared to 19.88 percent just two years ago.

Winning Wordplay: Apparently, dog lovers dig puns. Among the favorites: Duke Smellington, Winston Burpshill, Zoey Dachshundel.
